WHO WE ARE

BROER Media is a real estate photography and videography studio based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We operate at broermedia.com and can be contacted at info@broermedia.com or 0484 564 584.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect only the information necessary to complete your booking and deliver our services. This includes: your full name, email address, phone number, and property address. We also collect your Google account information if you choose to sign in with Google, limited to your name and email address.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Your personal information is used solely to: confirm and manage your booking, communicate with you about your shoot, deliver your final files, and contact you on shoot day. We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. BROER Media does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or banking details at any time. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance standards.

DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Your personal information is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant cloud database platform. We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. Access to your personal data is restricted to authorised BROER Media personnel only.

THIRD PARTY SHARING

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your data is never distributed to advertisers, data brokers, or external commercial entities.

COOKIES & ANALYTICS

Our website uses basic session cookies necessary for authentication and booking functionality. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics platforms, or behavioural tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, however this may affect your ability to complete a booking.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations), and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Booking records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Australian tax law.
